SCM Partner Churches

The West End Ministry was founded in 1969 by a group of five visionary pastors in the Boneyfiddle district of Portsmouth, OH. Charles Pitzer, rector at All Saints’ Episcopal Church, recognized that a joint ministry could meet neighborhood needs more effectively working together as the body of Christ.

Today, we are grateful for the support of All Saints’ Episcopal Church, First Presbyterian Church, Second Presbyterian Church, and Valley United Methodist Church as well as members of the community and business leaders.
